Little Steps Independence

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Little Steps Independence and its clients.

1. Nature of Services

Little Steps Independence provides consultancy services supporting families in encouraging children’s independence at home.

Services are:

  • advisory and educational in nature

  • not medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic

  • not a substitute for professional healthcare or therapy

2. Client Responsibility

Parents and caregivers:

  • remain fully responsible for their child at all times

  • must supervise their child during sessions

  • are responsible for implementing recommendations safely

Little Steps Independence is not liable for outcomes resulting from misuse or unsupervised application of guidance provided.

3. Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice

  • Late cancellations may be subject to a fee

  • Missed sessions without notice may be charged in full

4. Fees & Payment

  • Fees are agreed in advance as part of a package

  • Payment terms will be communicated prior to services commencing

  • Fees are non-refundable once services have been delivered

5. Confidentiality

All information shared during consultations is treated as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where consent has been provided.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials provided (including plans, checklists, and written guidance) remain the intellectual property of Little Steps Independence and are for personal use only. They may not be copied, distributed, or resold without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Little Steps Independence shall not be held liable for:

  • injury, loss, or damage arising from the implementation of advice

  • outcomes dependent on family consistency, environment, or external factors

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore.
